Bright Little Nuts

The Task:
To encourage healthier snacking for kids by creating a new nut brand for Whitworth’s that offers a tasty nutritious snack that kids would love.

The Insight:
When it comes to kids snacking, nuts seem to have developed an unnecessary stigma as a result of allergies in kids. The truth is, that there are so many benefits for kids, as they are highly nutritious and support healthy bones and brain development.

The Response:
I created ‘Bright Little Nuts’ as a fun and engaging brand for kids and parents. The name ‘Bright Little Nuts’ has a dual purpose. It says that this is a smarter choice as a healthier snacking option for kids, and plays on a product benefit of supporting brain development, therefore giving your kids a bright little ‘nut’.

The naive approach to the design and characters is intended to reassure mum of the wholesome, natural qualities of the product, whilst also appealing to kids in a fun and engaging way.
